The lag and the problems the forum is having

 

When a store you go to often, all a sudden changes it’s layout and all the isle are rearranged.

 

Getting calls on my VoIP business phone which the caller ID notates as '[SPAM]'. I still have to answer, because that notification is not always trustworthy. Still, it's irritating when you get the phone to your ear (I hate headsets) and some Robo-recording is already talking.

 

Yeah, the "your vehicle warranty is expiring ..... and you have to listen to the whole thing to find out which number to hit to be taken off the list you shouldn't have been on in the first place.

 

Well, its how you get rid of them.
If you waste their time they hang up on you and quit calling.
Plus, it can be fun to mess with them.

I got to the coffee shop that I was going to tonight to get a latte, sit down and read some of my book (a Shadowrun novel), and at about 627, they tell me "Just a reminder. We're closing in like 3 minutes." I'm only halfway through my chapter. I said "Wait. The sign says 730, weekdays. Did y'all have something posted somewhere that I missed (wouldn't be the first time). Nope. Then, it's not a "reminder". It's a last minute notice.....else I'd probably have went elsewhere. Kinda bullshit.

 

I went to the cemetery today to take some Christmas bouquets for my Mom and Grandma, and I saw that the staff had collected all of the flowers off of the wall niches and had them in a heap in the middle of the chapel floor. Most of the families put silk flowers up so they last a long time, and switch them out for the holidays, or other special times. I change mine every season.

I guess they assumed that non-holiday arrangements were not wanted anymore, but it really annoyed me to see everyone's just tossed on the floor like that.

Looking up a movie on IMDB and there are ZERO reviews. I often refer to this site when picking streaming movies that I'm unfamiliar with. While IMDB is not the best place for reviews - because every bozo on there thinks he's a Roger Ebert, but if the trailer looks good (which is never a guarantee of a good movie) - by surveying the quality of the reviews, it helps me determine if I should spend my time on the movie.

It sucks when IMDB says, "Be the first to review this film/movie.'
